Category: Events

PERF plans a full-day conference in Washington, D.C. to fully discuss how law enforcement agencies and their partners are addressing the challenges of opioids - fentanyl in particular. Among the issues we plan to cover:

  • How has the opioid crisis evolved over the last ten years and what have we learned?
  • What is working? What isn’t?
  • What strategies are agencies implementing to prevent fatal opioid overdoses?
  • How is fentanyl contamination of illicit drugs exacerbating the crisis?
  • Innovative strategies and best practices to successfully investigate fatal opioid overdose deaths as homicides.
  • What strategies to address the opioid crisis are having negative, collateral consequences?
  • What do the most knowledgeable experts in the country believe it will take to turn this epidemic around?

*Please note this event is by invitation only with a total of 50-60 total attendees.*
