Additional information can be found at: DCHR Benefits This position is located in the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), Professional Development Bureau (PDB), Testing and Assessment Branch (TAB). The TAB develops and administers internal selection processes for sworn members including oversight of written multiple-choice tests; conducting job analysis to ensure selection processes are content valid; and overseeing the written testing processes for entry-level police officer and Reserve Corps officers. The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
Licensures, Certifications and Other Requirements N/A Education Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree or higher is required Work Experience Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the MS-14 grade level, or its non-District equivalent, gained from the public or private sector. Specialized experience for this position includes experience in employment test development; coordinating and administering employment test activities; researching regulations, policies and standard procedures related to testing procedures; experience administering a law enforcement employment testing program; and supervisory experience. Work Environment Work location is in an office environment. Work is sedentary and may require walking and standing in conjunction with travel and attendance at meeting and conferences away from the work site and carrying light items, such as laptops, papers, books, small parts, and driving an automobile.
